UREA

UREA

Granular fertilizer with high nitrogen concentration. Key nutrient for vegetative development and vigorous plants, due to its vital role in chlorophyll synthesis, improving plant’s photosynthetic capability. For the uptake, chemical transformations in the soil are necessary. This process needs humidity conditions and increases with higher temperatures.

The transformation from ureic form to ammoniacal and finally nitric, produces ammonia that causes wastage due to volatilization. This explains the diminished efficiency of this nitrogen source versus others.
