Monoammonium phosphate appears as white or colorless crystal, slight ammoniacal odor, with a molecular weight of 115.03, easily soluble in water, pH between 3.8–4.5. Bulk density is 63.7 lb/ft3 (1.02 g/ml). It’s a widely used source of phosphorus and nitrogen. Moderately acidity that reduces the potential for NH3 loss to the air.
