Monopotassium phosphate is an inorganic compound containing phosphorus and potassium, appears as white transparent powder, odorless, with a molecular weight of 136.09, easily soluble in water, pH between 4.2–4.6. Bulk density is 145.5 lb/ft3 (2.33 g/ml). As a nitrogen-free fertilizer, MKP is a good choice of phosphorus and potassium when nitrogen fertilization should be limited.
